Chips are flying, the sawdust is every where and the metal filings from the drilling are sticking in my shoes. I am a happy hacker I posted some pictures on http://montgomeryowners.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10055. Lots of progress even though it was -4 deg F when I got up this AM. The bow eye should be about 2 inchs above the water line but that puts it in a very awkward spot inside. I had to cut two access ports and still have a hard time getting the nuts on. My first attempt at shorting the shrouds was a real joke. I might be able to salvage a couple on the next try but I sure appreciate the quality of Jerry's work. I guess I will have to send him some money. I will likely raise the mast on Monday and string up the sail outline to confirm the sail layout and then order the sails. I will mark all of the locations for all of the deck hardware while the mast is up so I can drill a lot more holes in the deck. Enjoy Doug Kelch "Seas the Day" M15G #1
