I have a few pix of internal reefing lines and others led back to the cockpit on the msog photo site under Technical posts for Monita. Henry On Thu, Jul 20, 2017 at 4:45 PM thomaspbuzzi <thomaspbuzzi@gmail.com> wrote:
john,go to "AS-IS" at the msog photo site and check out the port side for my job downhaul. At the bow I replaced the forestry thru bolt with one long enough to screw a ss female eye nut onto it.That gave me an attachment point for the downhaul block at the stemhead.Where the job halyard attaches to the jib I also use a shackle to attach the jib head to the forestry such that that shackle can slide up the forestay as the jib is raised. This shackle keeps the downhaul line from jamming as you try to lower the jib.

I am looking for clear illustrative pix of M17s set up with lines run to cockpit. Halyards most obviously. Jib downhauls if ya got 'em. Other such customizations as may exist that I hadn't even thought of.
I'm pondering doing some of this on my M17 but want to see how others have done it first.
If you've got pix like that on the MSOG photo site just tell me your boat and I'll go find 'em. If they're somewhere else, any links appreciated, or post 'em here.
thanks, John S.
