I recently put a HF coax in the mast of my M17, Griselda. To stop the cahfe and clanking, I used three tie wraps every two feet with the tails splayed 120 degrees apart. The tails of the tiewraps keep the coax away from the mast. She sits at the dock behind the house and there is no eedence of the cable slapping. Whitebeard M17 #14, Griselda .

Anyone have any thoughts and/or tips on securing the VHF coax fished inside an M17 mast to avoid "clanking" and chafe in heavy water action conditions?
Thanks in advance for your input,
