Bill, On the Lake Pleasant Sailing Club Web site they have a calendar that lists a "28-29 Turkey Day Cruise/Lake Pleasant* " overnight. I sent in a membership application but haven't been to a meeting or gotten any fliers yet. So I will be going overnight even if they don't. I am looking forward to sleeping under the desert stars and enjoying a desert dawn Thanks Doug Kelch "Seas the Day" M15 #310 G ________________________________ From: Bill Kaiser <whkaiser@gmail.com> To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Mon, November 23, 2009 6:53:16 PM Subject: Re: M_Boats: Sailing Lake Pleasant, AZ Doug, Welcome to Arizona I have a M15 Desert Dawn in Phoenix whats going on this weekend? Well I finally got "Seas the Day" out on Lake Pleasant, AZ on Saturday and today.
Light variable winds with at least one gust both days in the 15 kt range.
A very pleasant couple of days.
The Lake Pleasant Sailing club is having an overnight on the lake this coming weekend so I think I will do that as well.
Who else sails Montgomery boats on Lake Pleasant?
This sure is a looonnnng way from the North Channel :-)
