3/8 is what I used Just buy one at Home Depot. When you razor blade it expect a bloom so tape it tight before cutting, cut thru the middle. and burn the end to melt the shock cord. After a simple knot on one end, thread it thru the hole, thru the tiller and back thru the other hole. Pull tight and tie the last knot. Sent from my iPad
