That sounds very similar to the setup I had on my previous NS 27. When I ordered my M17, Bob said they didn't make them with end boom mainsheets so I just wrote the idea off until these recent posts popped up. Thanks for replying. HI JOE,
I DID THE SAME THING THIS YEAR WITH SELKIE.
I REMOVED THE TRAVELER TRACK THAT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE COMPANION WAY . MY BOAT HAS A METAL TOE RAIL. I USED THE LAST HOLE AFT ON THE TOE RAIL TO SECURE THE BLOCKS FOR THE BRIDLE. MAINSHEET COMES FROM THE BECKET ON THE BLOCK AT THE END OF THE BOOM TO THE PORT SIDE STANDING BLOCK ON THE TOE RAIL, BACK TO THE BLOCK ON THE BOOM AND DOWN TO A SINGLE BLOCK WITH CAM CLEAT ON THE STARBOARD TOE RAIL .
(I HAVE A DIAGRAM OF THE MAINSHEET BRIDLE SET UP. WHERE DO WE POST PICTURES?)
I SAILED SELKIE WITH THE END BOOM MAINSHEET SET UP YESTERDAY, AND IT WORKED VERY WELL.

Eldor,
Do you have pics of your end boom mainsheet set up?? I'm not sure what
impact this has on performance. Perhaps Jerry can chime in on this. But I
do get a tad frustrated bobbing and weaving around the mid cockpit
mainsheet.
