Thanks to Clarence Andrews and Howard Audsley for the web sites and tips on cruising in the M17.

I don't have an M boat, or for that matter, a sailboat at all at this time, but do have a circa 1940 ish 13' wooden boat with the original inboard power, and  a 14' lund, for beach cruising.

The idea of a self contained sailboat under 20' capable of overnighting seems to be the next logical step, and as we live on Vancouver Island BC  there are unlimited possibilities for cruising! I have checked out Potters but they seem a bit "light" to me (no offence intended!)
