Yeah, that's true...we got 2/3 day of fog in four days out right after labor day last year. Quieter though. June is pretty crowded, no? Re weather, I lived in Seattle seven years...the joke that was only half a joke was "no guarantee of summer before July 4th"... :-) A long-time local cruiser guy I talked with last year at the viewpoint up top of Cypress island said the actual sailing (e.g. consistency of decent wind) was best in spring and fall - later fall that right after labor day he meant of course.
