It was. Remnants of Katrina were headed that way with winds forecast to 30 knots plus. Sounds like we missed a GREAT trip. In my own case, I also missed 3,000 miles round trip, at 10 MPG, at $3.50 per gallon = $1,050 for gas to get out there and back. One has mixed emotions about that. Like eating chili peppers.
