I found The Shadow in the Sands a good sequel to The Riddle of the Sands. It is very differently written, being a narrative in the words of a working class man, who is much less refined than Carruthers. As much as I like Riddle, there are a couple of things about it that don't really add up. Shadow ties up those loose ends very nicely. Amazon.com sells the two books in combination (the 1998 hard bound edition of Riddle) for $26.91. You definitely want to read Riddle first.
