George, Where are you and your boat located? We are forecast for light snow also in the Puget Sound area. Don't the forecasters know it was supposed to be the beginning of Spring a couple days back? Yes it is any information would be appreciated. I oticed that noticed that the rudder was not per the M15 outline
Other than that I am not familiar with the M15 to know if meets the original specs. On the whole it is if nothing else the same hull. Workmanship appears to be good. I will hopefully rigging the boat soon. We are scheduled for some light snow tonight:-( last year we were in the 80's.

George:
is this the boat named 'Oriskany'.
last year i communicated with another that had found this boat. the boat isn't standard in many ways: rudder, mast, shrouds, how the headsail sheets are routed, cockpit drains, some bulkheads are different below, and i'm not sure about the centerboard.
i'd have to dig up my notes for the other items that i and the other person discussed.

I have just taken possession of what is titled as a "96" AM CLASSIC but looks like a Montgomery 15 (it was listed on the MSOG for sale site) it has the name American Classic on it. As this is after Jerry sold the company in 1995 this must be from a company he sold the molds to.
I was wondering if all the specs and information on the MSOG site are valid for the boat I have. I could not find a company under that name, I know that in the boat business they come and go. I understand Montgomery Boats @ Dana Point is building them now.
Any help would be appreciated as I get ready to rig her as soon as the snow melts. It appears that the forestay on this boat does not have a turnbuckle and I am concerned that I will not be able to adjust the rake on the mast.
