MC, I have two each Forspar single burner stoves. I bought one to start with, then thought it would be nice to be able to use it in more than one location. Therefore, I ordered the mounting bracket by itself, and was less than pleased to find it cost $65, which is 65% of the whole thing. I returned it and ordered another complete assembly. I have each of the brackets mounted on the forward bulkhead in the cockpit (one port, the other starboard). I was worried that the heat would be too much that close to a fiberglass panel, so I made and installed an aluminum shield around the backside of each stove. This may have been an over-kill, as the aluminum shield doesen't ever get hot, but it makes me feel more comfortable about the installation. These stoves put out a lot of heat, and will heat a pot of water to a boil in an amazingly short time. Incidently, if you buy the tea pot, don't empty its contents overboard with the lid in place, as it will fall off. There is one somewhere in some very murky water in the bottom of Perdido Bay.
