We use a cheap 2 person inflatable in our Montgomery 15. We don't need to row a long way in it or go out in really rough water (but have used it to float whitewater) but it works great. It inflates and deflates with a battery powered inflater in a minute or two and stores easily under the left side of the cockpit. It is comfortable for one but two fit fine. I've rowed it a half a mile or so, and although not efficient, it was doable. We don't tow it because it easy enough to bring out and put away. It is interesting to ready about the other options, but I can't imagine anything better for our purposes. David Grah Montgomery 15 Bishop California
