Annapolis Performance Sailing Ltd. _www.apsltd.com_ (http://www.apsltd.com) they can do either wire to rope or nico press thimble to rope half/half type for you. Many have gone to full 'rope' halyards with the current crop of material available that is stronger and gentler than wire. Check for recommendations as to stretch, creep, and UV resistance.
