I'll check it out when I got her in the air. Good tip! Daniel On Feb 13, 2011, at 7:16 PM, Brad & Jackie Evans wrote:
Sorry, my M-15 is number 385, not somebody's 381. When I last serviced my 2004 Pacific trailer, I found that the plastic bushings at the ends of the leaf springs were worn out. Jack up the trailer so there is no weight on the wheels and shake up and down hard. They were gone! The rest of the story is that Dan Phy had towed this trailer coast to coast, and many hundreds of miles from Fort Bragg to everywhere else. But the point is that these bushings were not serviceable. My new ones are sintered brass with zerk fittings.

Well, Bob's #208 didn't last long on the market. I went down there today, met Bob and his lovely wife, and bought his boat. He clearly loves the boat, and took terrific care of her. He through in a ton of extras he had. Just a super situation for me. so, tomorrow will be a "driveway" sail to get my systems down, and then, as soon as I have the time, my maiden voyage. I'm sure I will be back on this board with questions, though the way Bob has the boat rigged, it should be smooth sailing.
