Lining the M15 cockpit sole with DriDek works well for me. The water just sloshes under your feet but your shoes stay dry. And you can order a color to more or less match your sheer stripe Neil Dorf '85 M15 TwoCan NorCal -----Original Message----- From: wcampion@aol.com Sent: Wednesday, February 29, 2012 6:29 AM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: M_Boats: Cockpit Scuppers? Jeff, Not to worry!! On the M-15, you will find that 'Blue Water' or in my case, murky water (Chesapeake Bay) comes in and out from the pendant hole. Depending on your point of sail and the amount of chop, you will find that water comes into the cockpit via the pendant hole. There are various ways to limit this, but you'll never avoid it. Keep in mind, the water also escapes through the pendant hole, so you really don't want to block it 100% anyway. This year, I am installing floor matts in the cockpit, which raises the floor about 1" or less. This should keep my feet a little dryer..........or not.........either way, I'm sailing and isn't that what really counts?
