Dale,
Bill's got it right; with March 75 being the date of manufacture. You can
read all about it on the MSOG web site page, "Interpreting Your Hull
Identification Number" (HIN) from the Specifications page at
http://www.msog.org/specs/specs.cfm.
By the way, a warm welcome to all of the new owners. I'm the guy who
manages the Montgomery Sailboats Owners Group web site for the rest of
the owners. The MSOG has a bunch of info you'll find useful, and I'm
always looking for more. If you have a story about your first sail,
whether good, bad, or embarrassing (embarrassing is always the most
entertaining), email it to me at msog@msog.org . Or a few pictures of the
newest boats would be nice.
Those How-to projects and little extras that every new owner undertakes
are always appreciated. Good project pictures with a little (or lots of)
description are welcome.
To any owners: What the MSOG really needs are some good pictures of the
interior--for example: cabin, spce under the cockpit, under the V-berth,
inside lockers, cockpit lockers, quarterberth, etc., with something in
the shot for scale. M-15, M-17, and M-23 shots are all needed.
Feel free to contact me first, chances are I can make the webification
process as painless as possible for you.
Once again, welcome; you now have something in common with a whole bunch
of great people.
Doug
