I am going to sell my M15. Haven't used it for a long time, so it needs to go to a good home. I'll get a few photos together - it is in Big Bear, CA. I am in Camarillo (Ventura County), about 160 miles away. The lake has no usable launch ramp, as the water is down from the drought. No slip was available this summer. I am willing to deliver it at no charge, anywhere in the US (I would like a reason to go to Maine π). If it is on a smooth, flat concrete surface, it might be able to be manhandled to be moved around. I did it, sort of, when it was on my concrete driveway, but it is now on a gravel surface, and I can't move it by hand. Oh, it has a 2hp Honda, newish set of sails, roller furling jib, in very good condition, seat cushions. Also an 8' Avon inflatable in a bag. Trailer is in very good condition. Extended tongue. Extra parts, teak tiller. I have no pictures on my computer. Ivory with dark green trim. It is very pretty. I paid $10,500 for everything about 2 years ago. It was used in the Ventura Harbor for a summer, then I moved it to Big Bear last year, thinking I would use it on the lake. I have a second house there. Prior to me buying it, it was used on Diamond Valley Reservoir in the Riverside area - freshwater/drinking water. I am looking, not too hard, for a 14-16' aluminum fishing boat to use on Big Bear Lake. I can get that launched. Is it feasible to move an M15 around on the trailer by hand? I live in a townhouse, and need to store a boat in the garage. It needs to go in nose first, meaning rolling by hand on the jack (whatever boat I finally get will have the jack upgraded first thing.) The driveway is flat, but Iβm wondering how easy it is to roll these boats on the trailer by hand, theyβre small but itβs still a lot of weight for one guy! π₯΅
Thanks all,
Rusty
