Dick: If I recall correctly, your experience with your 23 was at Redwood City. When sailing "Really" and as I return from the Bay entering Redwood Creek I am occassionally caught off guard by severe gusts. I always keep one hand on the mainsheet for such events. The water is flat, land is close by and you're finally out of the Bay chop but beware of what you can't see. What were the circumstances in your experience? Rich Cottrell M15.
