Hi Doug, Now that's having egg on your face! Anchor dragging, while the crew were eating; ...........and there was nobody on watch to see what was happening? Incroyable, as the French would say! Now the M15 doesn't have a wine cellar with 600 rare bottles (I keep those at home - in the dark and avoid motion and temperature variations) but the M15 can easily carry a dozen bottles for a cruise. If I run aground, I don't have to call on tugs for help. A push pole (or boat hook) usually does the job; and if I'm really hung up, then unload the boat (get in the water) and push........... Works every time. The owner of "Mirabelle" has bragging rights at the Club bar, but, ......... we have more fun! We don't have personnel problems; a crew that is un seamanlike Can get under most bridges Can easily get from one cruising area to another What we need is a nice color photo of Mirabelle on the rocks, and put it in our M15s as a reminder that smaller is better and to give us a laugh.
