Once found the skeleton of a banded bird in an old house down in Pamlico County, NC. Turned in the band, and received a nice letter back identifying the bird as an American Kestrel, which had been banded in Alaska. Maybe you and your Kestrel can be as wide-ranging (but stay out of the walls of old houses). John Tyner M-15 #412 "Chimpanzee" On 4/14/2011 8:46 PM, Daniel Rich wrote:
I decided to name M15 #208. I have called her "Kestrel." To read about this if you are interested, see my blog at http://danielgrich.users.sonic.net/?p=64
Not earth shattering news for you experienced sailors, but it just seemed right!
Fair winds.
