M_Boats: M17 Trail Rite Trailer Refurb

I'm in the process of replacing the axle on my 1981 M17 Trail Rite Trailer. Two questions: (1) Has anyone replaced their axle & springs? If so where did you get the parts? (2) If you have an early '80's trailer can you provide the trailer id info - minus the vehicle number, that's listed on the sticker.
