Hello Bill and Randy, Randy offered a very concise explanation on how to wire in an accessory like the tillerpilot. I would use the accessory position in your panel. I like the ability to isolate branch circuits. If the tillerpilot was going to be a temp install, you could go the ring terminal/fuse/battery post method. For neatness, I try to avoid adding a load of tacked on connections to the battery posts. I see this in fishing boats all the time, and it turns into quite a clutter.I have added fused, DC parallel connections to the battery switch which is connected to a DC jack in the cockpit. This is used for remote charging, as in a solar panel or an alternator on the outboard motor. Speaking of solar, check out the fabulous line of products from Goal Zero. I purchased their 30 watt briefcase model solar panel. Later, Bones ____________________________________________________________ 57 Year Old Mom Looks 27!
