Thanks Skipper I just might replace the jamb cleat with a sheeve and return the line to the jamb cleat on the boom . “The real test is at sea”. Capt. IMO hard to adjust as when not close hauled can't reach the end of the boom ad it is outboard of the boat. Even when close hauled you are reaching aft, M15 has a long boom, to hand the line. The standard setup is cheek block at the on the port side of the boom right at the end. Leads the line forward and you can put in a cascade to make adjustment easy. The end of the line needs to be forward of the middle of the boom so you can adjust even when on a reach or down wind. Somewhere I have pictures. If needed let me know and I'll 'go looking' for the images. :: Dave Scobie :: M6'8" #650 :: Baba 30 #233 DEJA VU :: SV SWALLOW - sv-swallow.com :: former owner M17 #375 SWEET PEA - m17-375.com :: former owner M15 #288 SCRED - m15namedscred.wordpress.com <<-- new site!
