After I failed to leave the dock on my first attempt to sail, I went "yard sailing" almost every evening for a couple of weeks until I was confident that I had figured out the rigging. If not the rudder!!!<<

I, too, went "Yard Sailing" when I first got Stargazer, my M-17, now with a new owner <snif> Great practice raising the sails and even cranking the Seagull over for 10-15 seconds run time to keep in practice. I had the perfect cover for nosey neighbors.....I had the grandkids over and we played Pirate Ship <GG> Harvey/ Ga former M-17 Stargazer
