Steve, I can not talk about Minneapolis, but I did live and store my M-15 in Spokane, Washington where we normally had between 55-95 inches of snow along with the temperatures to match that much snow. My M-15 survived well under a big tarp along side the driveway, kicker motor removed to the garage, and all fluids out of the boat. Did need to knock the snow off from time to time. I live in a milder, but wetter climate now, South Puget Sound, and I think the M-15 survived the snow better than the winter rain of this area. Indoor storage is good, but spendy. We are heading toward our first winter living in Minneapolis and I need a recommendation on where to store my Monty 15 and trailer, preferably indoors. Please send me any recommendations. I am located in the west metro area in St Louis Park.
