Jeff, Not to worry!! On the M-15, you will find that 'Blue Water' or in my case, murky water (Chesapeake Bay) comes in and out from the pendant hole. Depending on your point of sail and the amount of chop, you will find that water comes into the cockpit via the pendant hole. There are various ways to limit this, but you'll never avoid it. Keep in mind, the water also escapes through the pendant hole, so you really don't want to block it 100% anyway. This year, I am installing floor matts in the cockpit, which raises the floor about 1" or less. This should keep my feet a little dryer..........or not.........either way, I'm sailing and isn't that what really counts? Upon closer eye-balling of my "new" (1981 #176) Monty 15, I find no cockpit cuppers. I cannot believe that this could be a design flaw (not typical of erry), but am a bit concerned about blue water soaking my feet (or worse). Ought I worry about this and retro-fit scuppers in the cockpit? If so, have others done this job and is there any type of "how-to" guide ut there in Monty Land? Many thanks in advance....... *Jeff+* olōn labe!
