To those that indicated they might be interested in going along, Jason and I are tentatively setting the date of May 20 or 21 for our sail to Anacapa from Channel Islands Harbor. We are planning on driving to Ventura, Ca on Friday the 19th. We're hoping that we will have good weather to sail out to Anacapa Island on Saturday. If not, we'll play around in the harbour and try again Sunday. We have to be back on the road by Sunday evening so we can both be back to work on Monday. Both of us would enjoy meeting and sailing with any other Monty folk that are out that way. As for the trip...It's every man/woman for themselves! We are both coastal sailing neophytes so if you plan on coming along expect us to drive you crazy with questions and don't expect any answers or good advice from us! If it looks marginal weather wise expect me to be too timid.....and Jason to be too bold! Between the two of us we about average out. hahaha We are both finalizing our time off from work, but it looks like its a go. Hope to see you there. Sean
