Marinas are increasingly particular about what one can and can't do ... with good environmental reasons. I suggest you talk with the marina staff for their recommendations that, i imagine, would cover what chemicals are allowed. :: Dave Scobie :: former M15 owner #288 - http://www.freewebs.com/m15-name-scred :: M17 #375 SWEET PEA - http://www.m17-375.webs.com :: Sage 17 #1 - AIR BORN - http://sagemarine.us/sage_17.html :: Sage 15 sloop #001 - ASOLARE - http://sagemarine.us/sage_15.html :: SageCat #000 - SAGECAT - http://sagemarine.us/sagecat.html On Fri, Sep 15, 2017 at 12:27 PM, Jazzy <jazzydaze@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi all, I've been super busy and haven't gotten to the boat in a while. I stopped by yesterday to find it pretty well doused in ash from the fires in BC. My question is, what can I use in a marina to clean it with? Water and the scrub brush weren't helping a whole lot. Its also on the dodger and sail cover.
I'm aware of baking soda, vinegar and such but is there something commercial with a bit more teeth that won't get me scowled at if it rinses into the harbor water?
Thanks! Jazz
