That’s a great deal and that boat is pristine. It’s a great sailor and has sitting headroom unlike my Montgomery 15s. I built it with lots of Carbon Fiber. Very comfortable interior. Bob Eeg Sent from my iPad

FYI.......... If anyone is interested, I found one of the elusive M-16 Cat boats on ebay, for sale. Here's the link. M-16 Catboat for sail I'd be interested but it's on the on left coast and I'm located on the right coast. Maybe someone will take this opportunity to own a unique M-boat. Excluding the M-dinghies Jerry only designed one catboat cruiser: the SageCat.
Bob did everything relating to his 16.
The first 16 hull was owned for a short period by Dan Phy and then traded back to Bob for a M15.
The second 16, last I have heard, is owned by Rocky Light (I think I nhabr the name correct).
I don't have the Salish 100 participant list so I don't know who is meeting up at Swantown Marina, Olympia WA. I'll know more the middle of next week as the S100 fleet is stopping at Port Ludlow WA one night, I live aboard at the marina, so will be hanging out with the fleet.

Steve, You'll have to wait for Dave Scobie to chime in. I thought the only cat rigged boats Jerry built were the Sage Cats? Due to the lapstrake hulls I would think they'd look very similar. Was the sail up? If so, then the logo on the sail would tell the tale. Oh well, we'll just have to wait for Dave to give us his thoughts, since he's the resident expert on all things Montgomery/Sage. I saw a Montgomery 16 at the Swantown marina on South Puget Sound today that was cat rigged. The boat owner told me his boat was 1 of only 2 M-16 cat boats built. Is this accurate? I thought there were more M-16 cat boats built. Steve M-15 335
