Hi Daniel I have a Makita circular buffer that works very well on my M-23. I use the 3-M cleaner wax combo or compound wax combo on my boat depending on the state of the gel coat. I think there may be more effective products but these seem to work well. Then I like the 3-M past wax which is most effective with a power buffer. The laps get in the way as they do on every hull project but the circular buffer works well. It is very much worth the money. It has been neglected while I build my SCAMP. So, I want to rub out the hull, but I have never done it. Should I do it by hand, or use some kind of buffing machine? I think the laps will get in the way. Thoughts? Daniel Rich M15 #208 "Kestrel" danielgrich@gmail.com
