M_Boats: first sail of the year

Finally got my first sail of the year today! It wasn't cold and raining for a change on a day without other obligations- a rare combination. The Coast Guard had the bar closed but I wasn't going to cross it with 10' breaking waves against me anyway. 12 kts of wind, sunshine and a good friend to share the day, what more could I ask for? Ok, if a 40 lb spring Chinook had jumped in the boat with us that would have really been over the top, but I'm content with what we had. It felt really good to be under sail again after a long winter break. Mark Dvorscak M23 Faith
