Karen and Smiley, I have a couple pieces of advice for you in camping on the M15: 1. Doing a dry run is a good plan, I ended up doing mine in one of our beautiful small lakes here in Minneapolis - and it was certainly a good idea to get the kinks out of the plan. 2. If you're planning on camping on the boat in a larger lake or the ocean (Lake Superior, for instance), check the wind as you're finding an anchorage. Better yet, if you have some sort of local weather forecast access, get the wind direction for the night. I learned the sleepless hard way that the lee can change after dark. 3. Bring a tent just in case. I usually do so, and the one time I didn't I was sorry. Good luck and have fun!! Chris M15 Persephone On Thu, Apr 28, 2011 at 7:11 PM, Gary M Hyde <gmhyde1@mac.com> wrote:

My wife and I are thinking of sleeping in our new to us Monty 15 to figure out its logistics for camping in the cockpit. Yeah thinking to make this as authentic as possible to move the boat to the parking lot at the school yard and do the camping thing. This may show use things we need to prepare for when we are actually going to do it and test the lighting Stan installed. How did you guys do a dry run for your first night sleep over? Thanks Another Wrinkle #616
