Giles, Lacquer thinners come in three basic typesketones and esters, alcohols, and fast evaporating hydrocarbons. The first two are solvents the last group are extenders to dilute or assist in application of lacquer. First two groups are most probably the GOO Eaters. No dumb questions. I have removed the old registration numbers but a glue residue remains. Does anyone have a suggestion about a cleaning agent or method for removing the gooey stuff?
