Is anyone interested in a set of three brand new 316 Stainless 1/4" CS Johnson stay adjusters (part 15-205) with clevis pins and rings? I will sell all three for $60 with free shipping, cheaper than you will find anywhere else.
These are the best stay adjusters on the market, and are in the larger 1/4" pin size which fits better into the M15 chainplate holes, causing less wear. Most M15s I have seen have a smaller 3/16" pin stay adjuster, which is only rated to 400 pounds and causes a point load that wears against the chainplate. My M15 had this when I got it, and the clevis pins have significant wear and deformation.
I purchased these to re-rig my M15, but found out that they have too narrow a channel to work with the Hayn Hi-MOD eyes I am using. They will work with machine swaged rigging, or with a nicopress type eye.
I am going to try the Hobie Cat style shroud adjusters which are welded at the bottom and springy, which I think will accommodate the width of the Hi-MOD eyes... however I can't find them in 316 stainless, but only in the lower quality 18-8.
