No, since I asked for experience information on this painting I have discover two main problems with spraying, one the toxic nature of the paint, but my search came up with it being the toughest surface I could put on at home workshop. but secondly that to use it there is a whole range of spray guns that will put an equal amount of paint in the air than on the boat. which means twice as much paint and that stuff is expensive. The epoxy is a good idea it will seal the old resin which is not really impervious to moisture. This is most important below the waterline. As for the freeboard, the two part primer that Interlux provides as part of their system would be what I would use. Also I have to repeat the warning Mr. Andrews mentioned, Use a positive airflow supply mask and suit. THIS STUFF CAN KILL when sprayed. You may want to consider rolling the stuff on. Will you be painting with LP below the waterline as well? Interlux does not recommend continuous immersion of their LP paint for more than 72 hours.
