Funny you mention Todd Mills. He used to be active on the Cape Dory forum and one of his posts there was the first time I ever heard of a Montgomery (they are pretty rare here in New England). He seems to have had a number of different boats. Some time later we crossed wakes when he was sailing a Crawford Melonseed on my little bay. -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Howe Sent: Saturday, January 30, 2016 5:18 PM To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats Subject: Re: M_Boats: Nostalgia Happy Birthday, Keith! I've been around since 97 or so, I owned Howards boat before he did! I still have some paper newsletters, form back in the day! Remember Tod Mills? He was a great contributor, I went on a Montgomery flotilla in Penobscot Bay in Maine in 2005 with him, Doug Kelch, Abby Gura, Rick on Bluebird (which had previously belonged to Connie Benneck). Over the years, you have provided an enormously satisfying community to HUNDREDS of us. Thankyou. It's my birthday and I'm feeling nostalgic so here's a question or two...
When did you subscribe to the list?
Who, other than myself, has been on the list the longest?
Was anyone else a subscriber to the Montgomery Owners' Newsletter (the paper one)?
No need for happy birthday wishes. While I'm happy to be able to celebrate, I'm not so pleased to discover I now have dual citizenship, USA and Senior.😝
