David Grah Thanks for the pdf. unfortunately I can not get it to print for me. I have given some thought to the over the gunwales mounting ladder. As I sail with a mate 50% of the time the ladder could remain stowed unless needed. I would deploy it when single handling. You mentioned it not being secure can you elaborate on that a little? Thanks for the heads up on mounting points. I was looking at a compassable ladder that only had 2 mtg. points.
The Sage Marine link indicated no route. Any other way I can get the information as that would be helpful.

Beware of boarding ladders with only two attachment points. They are prone to pulling out of the transom.
Get a three or four attachment point model.

I am looking to mount a boarding ladder as soon as the weather cooperates, presently 40 deg. in NWI 50 mi. E of Chicago.
Would like some feed back as to which type and any ideas on mounting same.
Looking at where I would have to get to indicates either mounting a hatch on the starboard side of the cockpit stern to get to the mounting screws or borrowing my great grand daughter (6 yr.) to clime into the starboard locker and hold the nuts. I have spoken to my grandson and he is o.k. with that😎
