Carlos, My seriously strong opinions follow. Its my opinion and I know I am right. 1. 4 Hp four stroke yamaha - fine motors - not as inexpensive as others but very well built. see if 'high thrust' prop is available - use it and keep std prop for spare. 2. Motor mount. My 4 Hp Evinrude will hit the rudder blade at the trailing edge when motoring (cut-out transom) I am building a small fixed motor mount to set the engine at the same height and move iit back approx 6.75 inches - it is the same as my stolen Hall Spars J-24 mount (See Hall Spars J-24 motor mount) This will allow me to clear the rudder blade and spin motor for reverse. 3. Using factory original. 4. That is a doubler/stiffner or a tab to pull the hull from the mold. Have to see to deternine. 5. Pin it and walk it up (with help from friends or people bribed with beer).
