Hi, Ron. On The Trailer Sailor Website under the Chandlrey,Tab, there is a source for Pre-Patterned Mainsail covers. Apparently they have the measuremnts on file for a Monty 17. Also, ooffered on the site, is a Clearance section with a limitted selection of covers being sold at a discount. No Montgomery covers listed right now, but one made for an 18 footer I have noticed. Prehaps once a Montty 17 owner responds to your needs for the specs (I have an M-15), you might find the option meets your needs, and ships within 3 days! Best of luck with your new boat.
