Either or both would have to drop what they were doing and fly to Connecticut to assist, if something happened to us. The answer became; move to Dallas. Daughter and son-in-law are just 2.1 miles away from our new house. You're correct. No State Income Tax; no snow to shovel; and no Death Tax, were additional reasons for the move. As for the ocean, we gave up sailing there back in '92 when all our old anchorages became so filled with power boats that there was no fun sailing there anymore. That is when we switched gears, and went trailer-sailing, first with a Bolger MICRO, and finally with our M-15 #400 LEPPO. Then we had peace and quiet again; could go where the water was very shallow and where the power boaters didn't dare to go - rocks damaged propellers, and there were no fuel pumps. We sailed from Maine to Florida. Small, and not so small, quiet waters are very enjoyable. Connie & Katrina
So Connie: Why the move? No state income tax, no snow to shovel? BTW: No ocean nearby either.

Hi gang,
We're back again.
I have lost out on recent conversations because good old Ma Bell cut off my old DSL connection and email address when I cancelled the service in November.
The reason for the cancellation was our move from Glastonbury, CT to Dallas, Texas, and the dust of the move has still not settled.
I was able to sell the Shellback dinghy to an eager sailor; but nobody wanted my lovely Bolger designed NYMPH dinghy, so I donated it to a sailing group in New London, CT. Now we are almost totally boat-less, unless you count my old Boucher model schooner; or my rubber powered yellow submarine. Both have sailed in foreign waters
We have lots of things we are trying to find and a number of closed cardboard boxes that might contain it. MURPHY is having a ball with us.
My new email address is:

Do you need new and more up-to-date verses to the "Wrinkle Boat Song"?
Happy sailing,
