Butyl tape, for bedding anything above waterline. Here's a good how-to: https://marinehowto.com/bed-it-tape/ You can buy any good quality butyl tape, doesn't need to be the stuff this guy linked above sells. Much easier to work with, newbie/beginner/DIY friendly, easy to remove if needed. Everything bedded on my M17 is bedded with butyl tape.
