Neil, Most auto supply stores carry plastic headlight cover cleaner. I just used some on my yellowed headlight covers, and it turned them crystal clear with about 10 minutes of circular polishing with a clean, soft cloth. I think this would work on any clear plastic surface. It's worth a try before replacing the plastic itself. There are several brands, at different prices, but you should be able to decide which one to buy by reading the labels. I think any of them would do the job, since they are designed to clear up clouded plastic. Good luck Bill Day M-15 363, "Gee Whiz!" On Mon, Mar 29, 2010 at 2:57 PM, <ndorf@surfbest.net> wrote:
Does anyone know of a paste / polish / cleaner that is actually safe and effective to use on the Montgomery portlights for removing spots and fine scratches? Or is that a pipe dream?
