Jeff, P.S. If your vintage M15 does not have a mid-cockpit cleat, you can buy a suction cup fender strap (not as secure) or screw in a cleat to the outer or top surface of the cockpit gunwale at mid-cockpit. The handrail-hanging location on my M15 drops the fender several inches forward of the shroud.
