Insurance on our boats went up this year, for no very good reason, I might add. Can we start a bit of a thread on this subject? I use Allied, and believe me when I say that at least for me, they're broken. To start the discussion, is there any good reason to carry anything more than liability on these boats? Although the buying and selling price of our boats is nothing to sneeze at, they're not $100k boats. Any recommendations on carriers? Long distance vs a local agent? Any ideas are appreciated... t Tom Smith & Jane Van Winkle Sandpoint, Idaho M15-345, Chukar M17-064, Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: BILLAMICASR@aol.com [mailto:BILLAMICASR@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2004 10:26 AM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Tongue Weight? SF Bay is calling me... I've got the No Sailboat Blues! Can someone tell me an average trailer tongue weight on the late model M-15's? I towed the P-15 with a '02 Honda Civic. I guess the M-5 will be 400 pounds more. I'm not concerned to much with the stopping ability or cost of the inevitable, new transmission. But the question I'd like to pose... Is anyone else doing this? Or another little car? Thanks, _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats This message was scanned for viruses!!
