Welcome to the M15 club. I just bought my M15 a couple of months ago and also love every minute on it. The owner I bought it from could not explain to me any of the ins and outs of rigging since he has not used the boat in years. My son and I studied pictures posted on the owner's group web site to figure everything out. I think we did a pretty good job but I'd like to hear any rigging advice that was passed on to you, especially if it is written out. Also to everyone in the Seattle area, please let me know if you want to plan a trip. The San Juan trip posted on youtube looked fun but I'd like to sail with a few folks close to Seattle every now and then and share tips in person. Around Whidbey sounds fun. Good luck again. I am now the proud owner of a 1981 (#163) M-15, purchased from a fine fellow and sailor, David Wood of Ashland, OR. David has certainly set me up for sailing success, as he not only patiently explained the ins and outs of M-15 rigging and launching but also did a beautiful job of restoring/maintaining my 'new' boat. I took her out for my initial sail in Holmes Harbor here on Whidbey Island (approx. 45 miles NW of Seattle) last Friday. What a treat! I look forward to learning from all of you, re M-15 features/ capabilities and sailing/cruising tips. Cheers! -Steve on Whidbey _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
