I went to see a Montgomery 7'11' on Monday that was for sale locally. I had posted a note about it last week to see if any were interested in it. I got 3 replies. The good news is, it was in decent shape, needs a little TLC, but you expect that for a '77 vintage craft. The 'bad' news, for those who were interested in it, is that I bought it and plan to keep it. It's irresistable. Please forgive me for falling for it. The original sail has been replaced by a Naples Sabot sail, that has a pocket that simply slides over the 13' 3" fiberglas mast. The aluminum boom is 7' long. It has oar locks and oars. Hull number is: MMP714230677, #423, manufactured in June 1977, right? I'll see if I can post some pictures tomorrow. Who else here has one?
