It was an accident, resulting from my failure to pay attention to the details when I ordered the sail. A happy accident it has turned out to be. I have much more control over draft, which makes it easier to adapt to changes in wind velocity. I did have to re-rig the outhaul to add mechanical advantage, but that was no big deal (photos attached). They have a Sail Loft and have quoted me a price of $67 to convert it to a Lose Footed Main. I just Day sail and do not Race thou anytime 2 sailboats are on the same waters it's a race:-). I was wondering if it was worth it to make the conversion. Any input is appreciated I know the current sails are made Lose footed. George Merry Helen II M15 #602
