M_Boats: Rudder finish

I'd like to hear what Monty owners use for a finish on their rudders. I leave my M17 on a mooring in fresh water five months a year. You can't use marine spar varnish below the water line. Clear epoxy turns cloudy and looks ugly after a few months in the sun. What do folks use? David Hill M17 Grouper
