Ian, thanks for the complements on my M-15. Try to find the Montgomery Blog site. There you will find "Montgomerys for Sale", "Montgomerys Wanted", both 15 foot and 17 foot. If you find a Monty of any size take at least 10% earnest cash with you. If you have to search for months to find one it will be worth it. Just make sure that the Center Board is not swollen or damaged. I had to replace my CB entirely and it was expensive but I never regretted it. The rest of the work was done by me with the best materials I could find. Like, Epifanes varnish for the teak. Choose carefully for long exposures to UV sunlight. The best thing to do in storing your Monty (if outside) is keep it covered at all times to minimize UV damage. I could go on about maintenance but on line the best and most experience person with a lifetime of sailing is Conbert Benneck. The Montgomery family all know this guy from his on line presence. If it has to do with sailing this is the guy to contact if you have a question and if he does not know the answer he can tell you who would know. By the way, he is a WW2 vet so don't put off asking him if you want to know about getting a sailboat, any sailboat. Jerry Montgomery still lives in the Sacramento area. He also is a wealth of Montgomery information. The latest Montgomery sailboat to enter the family is the new model made by Sage Marine. Not sure where they are located but I think the Sage is a 17 footer with more windows and some other upgrades making it legally NOT a Montgomery but all the wrinkles are still there in the hull..... ---all for now....Fair Winds Ian.....Larry Hughston in hot and windless Sacramento -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Hughston, Larry@DGS Sent: Monday, June 09, 2014 11:37 AM To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats Subject: Re: M_Boats: M-15 For Sale in Sacramento Ian, here are some photos of my M-15 that is now for sale.
